Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record Breaking Tourism Entry Numbers - United States

NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

He said, "It's so exciting to witness a further rise in tourism to Israel from the United States, and already reaching or surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019". "The United States has been the most important market for Israel's tourism inbound. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries every month.

Canada is also on track, like the United States, to surpass its tourist arrivals into Israel. In July 2022, Canada received 7,200 visitors and August was a record 6,000.

Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada in the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are near our record 2019 numbers. We anticipate that this trend will continue as Canadians visit more countries.

Israel welcomed over 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 came of the United States.  נווה פריצקי The country's officially reopening to travelers in May was a success, with more than 600,000.
